Several months ago, Mandy Maxwell (one of my best friends in the world) gave me a painting of one of my hydras for my birthday. I posted the picture on the Wizard Beard Games facebook page, and proudly display it on my living room wall, but up until this point I haven't shared it anywhere else. So here it is in all its glory!
As I've been sketching my last few hydra cards I went back to that painting for some inspiration. I always loved the facial expressions, and the way the necks would come up under the head. I spent several hours sketching and this was the result.
